Cyber crime and cyber security round table

Call for Papers: EU regulation of cyber crime and cyber security: an interdisciplinary round table.

A team from Abertay are going to hold an interdisciplinary workshop into issues surrounding the regulation of cyber crime and cyber security within the EU, affecting its relations with its member states, and with third countries. This round table intends to cover perspectives from the computer and information sciences, and social science disciplines, broadly defined, as well as interested policy makers and practitioners, to establish common areas of interest. It is intended to hold this round table on the 10th September 2012 at the University of Abertay Dundee.

Those wishing to present a (work in progress) paper at this round table should submit a 500 word abstract to Dr. Maria O’Neill at m.oneill@abertay.ac.uk by the 27th June 2012. You will be notified if your application is successful by Wednesday the 4th July 2012, with registration for the conference being opened after that date.
