About us

It is intended that this network will bring together the variety of disciplines, national outlooks, and a mix of academic, policy maker, and practitioner perspectives, in order to feed into the continuing development of useable cross EU policing provisions, by the various forces operating throughout the EU. Members intend to engage in not only research, but also knowledge transfer and exchange activities, through existing contacts, and any further contacts developed in the course of this research network, in order to develop and deepen relationships with police practitioner colleagues and national Departments of Justice and Home Affairs. It is also intended that this research networks will enhance the usability of the academic research in the context of EU cross border policing practice and policy development.

It is intended that members of this networks will comprise academics, practitioners and policy matters involved in “Policing and European Studies”, from across the EU, and from EU partner states..
